Postpartum Depression & Psychosis

This video essay is an informative visual learning piece about two specific maternal mental health disorders; Postpartum Depression and Postpartum Psychosis. Focusing to introduce, explain, raise awareness, and ways of prevention/treatment.

This project was created as a follow up to a literature review essay that explored the representation of Prenatal and Postpartum Mental Health struggles through a Female Gaze in two films. Jason Reitman's 2018 drama-comedy Tully and Carlo Mirabella-Davis's 2019 psychological thriller Swallow.
